Parmesan Garlic Roasted Chicken

I. love. parmesan. garlic. sauce.

I have tried and tried to make parmesan garlic sauce, and I have come pretty close: mayonnaise, parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, etc etc. But I have to say…. If you can get this parmesan garlic wing sauce from Aldi, get it!

It is such a time saver, and it is so so soooooooo good.

However, it is seasonal.  They usually have it around big sports events when everyone is making wings.  So definitely check the website or your local Aldi store to see if they have it in stock.  If not, I have included an equally delicious sauce to slather all over your roasted chicken or wings for that matter.

Am I the only one who doesn’t like the look of raw chicken?  There is just something about it.  So I quickly cover mine with the beautiful parmesan garlic sauce.

Mmmmmmm…. now that’s what I’m talking about.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

In the bottom of a roasting pan, place the diced carrots, onions, celery and potatoes.

Place the chicken into the oven and roast it for 1 hour, 15 minutes or until done. Skin should be deep golden brown and juices should be sizzling.

Ingredients

  • Parmesan Garlic Sauce homemade or premade
  • 3 to 5 lb whole chicken
  • 5 carrots, diced into one inch pieces
  • 4 potatoes, diced into one inch pieces
  • 4 stalks celery, diced into one inch pieces
  • Parmesan Garlic Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

In the bottom of a roasting pan, place the diced carrots, onions, celery and potatoes.

Lay the whole chicken on top of the diced vegetables. Slather the chicken in your homemade or store bought parmesan garlic sauce.

Place the chicken into the oven and roast it for 1 hour, 15 minutes or until done. Skin should be deep golden brown and juices should be sizzling.
